Influential expressions and creations by black people are seen and heard across cultures and countries outside of what we call the United States. That is ultimately the inspiration behind and basis of Rice and Beans Radio. I'll be playing mixes focusing on 1 or 2 genres of music rooted in and created by the African diaspora. Of course, this isn't a comprehensive lesson on black musical history. Rather, it's a listening experience and a chance to appreciate music that black people are making across the globe.
